As a company, Weider Heat Pumps has a great tradition of innovation. For decades Weider has concentrated on technology and innovation. In the process, the company has developed multiple award-winning heat pump technology.

On the test bench of the Heat Pump Test Centre (WPZ) in Buchs, Weider achieved a coefficient of performance (COP) of 6.8 in groundwater operation. The WPZ is an independent test centre which, among other things, carries out the tests required to obtain the EHPA-DACH quality label of approval. This link will take you to the test results. The entire SW and HW series from Weider are currently certified with this quality label of approval.

All systems are also tested on our in-house test bench at Weider to ensure that they work properly and deliver the required efficiency before they are delivered to the customer.

Weider is one of just a handful of heat pump manufacturers to also develop and produce the heat pump control systems in-house. The result is a totally coherent concept which delivers the very high efficiency of the Weider heat pumps. In 2008 the latest version of the WeiTronic08 electronic controller was launched. This is now being constantly refined.
